Committee

The President – Claudine Bettendroffer

Hi, I’m Claudine and this is my second year in the UK. After three years in France I am completing my studies with a master’s degree in International Business at LSBF (London). I gained a lot of experience as an event manager while being part of the committee of luxembourg students in Strasbourg and as President of a youth association. Most of all I like organising events and I love meeting new people. So come and join us! ;)

The Secretary – Eric Harsch The Treasury – Marc Ensch

Hi, I’m Marc. This is my fourth year with the SLSB and this year I am charge of the club’s finances as I have taken over the role of treasurer. I am currently finishing my Masters in History at the University of Glasgow and am looking forward to another year with the society during which we hope to offer to our members thee same fun activities we have enjoyed over the last few years along with hopefully some new ones and old favourites brought back to life.

The Designer and London Rep – Caroline Peters

Hello everyone. My name is Caroline and I am a 2nd year Osteopathy student at the British School of Osteopathy in London. This is my first year in the SLSB committee and I’ll do my best to guarantee you an exciting year and various events. After 2 previous years of studies in Belgium, I never regretted my choice to study in the UK! Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any question, especially about student life and studying in London. Hopefully see you at some SLSB events!

The Sports Minister – Laure Stein

The Alumni Representative: Chris Pesch

Hi, I’m Chris, I’m a 4th year English Language and Literature student at University of Glasgow, and this is my first year as the president of the SLSB. As such I hope I can increase the society’s appeal, while I make sure that our committee gets down to do their job. If you’re interested in studying in the UK, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me, as I’ll be happy to answer to any question you might have.

The Guidebook Editor – Annika Grosser

Hi everyone, my name is Annika and I am a third year Physiotherapy student at Glasgow Caledonian University. My job is to make sure you get a nice guidebook at the foire de l’étudiant. Also I am responsible for the newsletter and any other publications throughout the year. This is my second year in the committee, and I have to say, I enjoy it a lot. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I am looking forward to next year. All the best.
